Wreckfest is now here, right now, on the Nintendo Switch! We've been playing it, and so far, it's very promising. Watch our brief hands-on preview ahead of the game's launch, 21st June 2022. While the visual fidelity takes an expected hit, and the frame rate is sometimes a little unstable, it's a marvel that this gameplay, damage system, Tournament mode and career are all present and correct. You can change the control system to have the sticks for accelerate and brake if you prefer and the Pro Controller plus third-party gamepads are supported. We found the racing, and arena, action to be just as intense on the small screen as the big screen, and thing that (so far) this is a solid conversion and straight onto the list of must-have Switch driving games. We will return with a full, detailed, review of Wreckfest on the Nintendo Switch soon, but for now, listen to our initial impressions and watch direct-capture gameplay.
