In a bid to bring the Naga political process back on track, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy CM Y Patton and UDA Chairman T R Zeliang met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday in New Delhi. According to reports the trio has discussed the ongoing negotiations on the Naga Peace Process, besides various issues concerning the state. During the meeting, Union Home Minister expressed concern over negotiations not moving towards finality despite the framework agreement signed between the centre and National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) (IM) back in 2015 .
