I Built an Engine From Scratch

I Built an Engine From Scratch

After months of designing, 3D printing, aluminum casting, CNC machining, and countless hours in the workshop, this homemade two-stroke engine finally came to life. In this video, I show the complete process of building a custom engine from scratch. Starting with CAD models in SolidWorks, I 3D printed every casting pattern, created aluminum castings using the lost PLA process, machined every critical component, built a custom crankshaft, manufactured the cylinder and cast-iron liner, and finally assembled the entire engine before its very first start. Every major engine component was designed and manufactured specifically for this project. This video covers: • SolidWorks engine design • 3D printed casting patterns • Lost PLA aluminum casting • CNC and manual machining • Crankcase manufacturing • Cylinder manufacturing • Cylinder head machining • Cast iron cylinder liner • Custom crankshaft • Engine assembly • First engine start If you enjoy engine building, machining, foundry work, CAD design, or homemade engineering projects, consider subscribing for future videos.
