Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy responds to Teens for Vaccines on the issue of minor consent laws

Surgeon General Dr. Murthy advises #teens to lean on doctors, teachers, & nurses to be their health advocates who can bridge the conversation with parents, esp. in tough situations when teens can’t self-consent to life-saving vaccines to protect themselves. This was in response to a question by Ayaan Moledina, Teens for Vaccines ambassador leader in Texas and also the V.P. of Ambassador Activation & Organizing for the organization.
