Furthermore, the lawyer pointed out that the Lahore High Court had declared the NAB case against Parvez Elahi illegal. The Islamabad High Court, during the proceedings, inquired about any disturbances caused by Parvez Elahi in Islamabad, to which the lawyer stated that he had not been involved in any rallies, processions, or riots. The court also mentioned ongoing contempt of court proceedings against the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner for a similar order issued against Shehryar Afridi. Ultimately, the Islamabad High Court suspended the 3 MPO and ordered the release of former Chief Minister Punjab, Pervez Elahi, with the condition that he would refrain from making any statements until the next hearing.
