I watched the 2026 Best Picture nominees, and for once the Oscars actually included some movies normal people might want to see. That said, there’s still plenty of pretentious nonsense to go around. So in this video, I rank all 10 Best Picture nominees from worst to best, including Sinners, F1, Marty Supreme, Hamnet, Frankenstein, Bugonia, The Secret Agent, Train Dreams, and One Battle After Another. Some of these are gorgeous, moving, and genuinely worth your time. Others are two-and-a-half-hour lectures disguised as cinema. This is my full Oscar ranking, with spoilers, sarcasm, and a defense of something the Academy often forgets: craftsmanship matters. And yes, Kpop Demon Hunters deserved better.
