Carrot Halwa Recipe- Carrot Halwa in Pressure Cooker-Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe

Carrot Halwa or gajar ka halwa is one of the famous indian dessert which I have made in a easier method using pressure cooker Ingredients: Carrot - 2 cups(i used 3 carrots) Ghee - 4 tblsp Milk - 1 1/2 cup Sugar - 1/2 cup or as per taste Cashews- 10 Method : 1.In a pressure cooker ,add 3 tblsp of Ghee and roast the cashews till golden brown 2.Add carrots and saute for 2-3 minutes 3.Add milk and pressure cook them for one whistle on medium flame 4.once the pressure subsides,stir them on medium to high flame till milk thickens(takes 5-7 mins) 5.Add 1/2 cup of sugar or as per your taste (Add cardomom powder if u wish too,I didn't use them here) and stir till sugar is absorbed 6.Add 1-3 tblsp of Ghee and mix well and it's done You can also add Badam and raisins along with cashews
