DPD Chief Patrice Andrews - Women in Blue

DPD Chief Patrice Andrews - Women in Blue

As the Durham Police Department works to build up our representation of female officers, we are starting a new series where we will highlight a different woman in blue each month. We kick off this #WomenInBlue series with Chief Patrice Andrews. Chief Andrews has served as Chief of Police for Durham PD since November 2021. She began her career at Durham PD in the late 1990s where she worked for two decades in different units including uniform patrol, organized crime, and criminal investigations. In 2016, she left Durham to serve as Chief of Police for Morrisville PD and then came back to Durham PD to serve as Chief of Police in 2021. Chief Andrews talks about her career in law enforcement, who she is behind the badge, and why it’s important for more women to consider this career. #30x30 #30x30Initiative #WomenInBlue #WomenInPolicing #WomenInLawEnforcement Emergency: 911 Non-emergency: 919-560-4600 Visit http://DurhamPolice.com Subscribe    / durhampolicenc   Follow   / thedurhampolice   Like http://www.fb.com/TheDurhamPolice/ Follow   / thedurhampolice   Durham Police Department Headquarters 602 East Main Street Durham, NC 27701
