Joint Worship is a bilingual service in the main sanctuary that brings together our regular Festival Worship service with communion held on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. with our La Mesa service with communion held on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Festival Worship is a traditional worship service, featuring scripture and a sermon and a variety of music. La Mesa is a bilingual worship service enhancing the diversity, spirituality, and faith of people in a radically welcoming and inclusive space where the table of the Lord becomes the sacred meeting space. On this Sunday, we celebrated All Saints as we bore witness to God's faithfulness in life and in death. Attendees were invited to bring a photo of a loved one that they carry in their heart to add to the ofrenda, a memorial altar in the Sanctuary. Attendees were also invited to light candles in their loved one's memory, and to take a small bell to hang from the Ironwood trees on the church green so that the saints of the church may be present with us whenever we pass through the church garden and hear the Holy Spirit ringing in the wind.
