The monuments in this area are divided into three groups: Eastern, Western and Southern. Today we will be visiting the eastern group of temples. Highlights • Parsvanath Temple • Adinatha Temple • Ghantai Temple • Brahma Temple. Unlike the Western Group where the temples are in a closed area, the temples of the Eastern and Southern groups are scattered all around the old village and does not have any entry fees, they are free to visit at any time of the day. The eastern group of temples is located around this lake and village. The Jain community during the Chandela rule lived on the eastern side of Khajuraho and a number of Jain temples from that period are here.
