Tafsir Al Quran Al Fajr: Surah Al Fajr Verses 1-30: Simple and Concise Tafsir

Quranic Interpretation of Al-Fajr: Surah Al-Fajr Verses 1-30: Easy and Concise Interpretation Surah al-Fajr is the 89th chapter of the Quran. Based on the time of its revelation, it is ranked 10th and is included in the Meccan chapters. Most mushafs and hadiths use the name al-Fajr. The second name mentioned in the hadith of Sunan Nasa'i is wal-Fajr. There is no special virtue contained in Surah al-Fajr, but there is a hadith that discusses this chapter. This hadith, narrated by Bukhari, Muslim, and Nasa'i, tells the story of the Companion Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him). One day, Mu'adh ibn Jabal was praying the Isha prayer in congregation with his people. He was leading the prayer. While the prayer was still in progress, one of the worshippers left the row and prayed alone. Apparently, he objected when Mu'adh ibn Jabal recited Surah al-Baqarah during his prayer. After the prayer, Mu'adh approached the separated congregation and accused them of being hypocrites. He then reported the matter to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). After learning the full extent of the matter, the Prophet (peace be upon him) advised Mu'adh, "Why don't you just recite Surah Sabbihisma Rabbika (al-A'la), or with the Fajr prayer (al-Fajri), or with the Laila Idhaa Yaghshaa (al-Lail)? Because those praying behind you might be elderly, infirm, or needy." Surah al-Fajr consists of 30 verses according to the majority of scholars. However, some scholars believe that Surah al-Fajr consists of 32 or 29 verses. This is due to a difference in the abbreviation of verses 15 and 16. However, this difference does not add to or detract from the content of Surah al-Fajr in the Quran. This Yufid.TV video will present an interpretation of Surah al-Fajr. It contains a complete interpretation of Surah al-Fajr, chapters 1-30. Linguistically, al-Fajr means the time when the darkness of the night begins to fade, replaced by the gradually emerging light known as dawn. In the first verse of the Quranic commentary above, Allah, the Most Pure, swears by the dawn. This demonstrates the special nature of dawn. The following verses will be explained in full in the Yufid.TV video above. In addition to the verse-by-verse interpretation, the video above also includes Surah al-Fajr and its meaning, as well as a recitation of Surah al-Fajr. The interpretation and meaning of Surah Al-Fajr will be recited slowly and concisely, making it easier for Muslims to understand.
