Venue: My Home Avatar, Gachibowli, Hyderabad (2700 apartments community) Footfall: 1000+ Ecoprenuer brand partners: 30+ Key Event highlights: ✅️ session on Sarvam Living by @shailender_sga ✅️ Quiz contest by Oxygen Farms ✅️ Musical performances by @consciousplanet team on #SaveSoil movement ✅️ Nukkad Natak on #WasteManagement by Green Champs from @acc.hyd (@sanjaybhat519 ) ✅️ Basket weaving ✅️ Jeevamrutham making workshop enabled by @organo_et_school ✅️ Pledge wall with Natural Colours enabled by @greenpeaceindia ✅️ Panel discussion hosted by @reenarags Waste Collected: ✅️ For @goonj : 150 kg clothes ✅️ For @EcoVani.in : 350 kg Recyclable Waste ✅️ For @Akshayakalpa around 300 milk packets ✅️ 50+ plastic toothbrushes for @ENYimpacts in exchange of bamboo toothbrushes Waste sent to Waste-to-Resource partners @wasteventuresindia: ✅️ Biodegradable waste sent for composting: 20kg ✅️ Recyclable waste: 10kg (Confession: Our waste management efforts were far from satisfactory, far from how we usually do it to perfection. It was our biggest event thus far as event organizers so some miscalculation happened. We will do better next time.) That everything got pulled together in less than 10 super stressful days to roll out into a beautiful event to remember..was no mean fete for our lean team... And we're filled with gratitude for everyone - right from the volunteers to sponsors, from My Home Avatar Management Committee to support staff - who helped in making this possible!
