What It Sounds Like –EJAE Demo by Lumie (Kpop Demon Hunters)

In an interview, EJAE shared demo versions of some of the songs she wrote for K-Pop Demon Hunters, and one of them was What It Sounds Like. After that, I received several requests from subscribers asking me to create my own version of this demo. The audio featured in the interview is very low quality, and it’s hard to fully understand how the song develops and ends. I looked for the lyrics, but only found fan-made descriptions rather than an official version. Because of that, I decided to create my own interpretation of this demo. This isn’t meant to be an exact replica of what EJAE presented. As you know, I like to bring my own perspective and signature to the songs I cover. Since this track hasn’t been officially released yet, I felt free to make a few changes, especially toward the ending, while still preserving the original melody and spirit of the demo. I hope you enjoy this version. And who knows, if EJAE releases the official version someday, maybe I’ll create another cover that stays even closer to her original vision.
