Port Sunlight River Park Kiosk Team win at the Learning Disability & Autism Leaders List 2021

Great news - our Kiosk Team were winners at this year's Learning Disability & Autism Leaders List Awards 2021. Having been chosen by an expert panel of judges, who saw almost 200 fantastic entries this year, the people we support at the River Park take their place on the Leaders List for 2021 along with a select group of people who have achieved so much this past year. So congratulations to the whole team - Chris, Conor, Daniel, Jake, Liam, and Steven - for winning their award. The awards ceremony was held online this year, due to the pandemic, and was presented by BBC Radio 2's Ken Bruce. The team met at the River Park Heritage Centre to watch the awards together and enjoyed a celebratory buffet. We’re able to provide the kiosk service thanks to funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Huge thanks also to Neil Murphy and all our staff who support this talented group.
