Police chase ends in a wall ramming - Stamford Hill

Police Statement: At 00:40hrs on Saturday, 3 September officers on routine patrol in a marked vehicle signalled for a car to stop in High Road, N15. The car, a black Volkswagen Golf, failed to stop and made off from police. A short time later, the Golf was involved in a collision with a garden wall in Fairview Road, N15. The driver, a 31-year-old man who was the sole occupant, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, drink driving, failing to stop for police, driving without insurance and driving without a licence. He remains in custody.
