Kashmir: CRPF patrol team attacked & jawan injured in IED blast in the Pulwama area

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan from the patrol team was injured in South Kashmir's Pulwama region after terrorists planted a low intensity IED bomb in the area. The suspected target of the attack was to target a CRPF convoy when the security forces were passing through the area. The area of the blast has been cordoned off for investigation and a search operation is underway. There have been a series of encounters that have taken place in the area over the last month to eliminate the terror activities of militants from various terror outfits.
