Leek has went against all odds & did whatever it took to get to where he is today. This self produced record "The Finer Things" is a great depiction of making it out of the struggle to move on to "Finer Things." He's determined to continue to hustle by any means necessary because he's nowhere near the position he wants to be at but a lot further from where he was Growing up in “Savannah, Georgia” is rough you don’t know what you’ll be up against coming up out the bottom of the barrel, you could be facing hate, doubt, fake love, the struggle, the streets, don’t know what to do or who to trust. You can be here today and gone tomorrow. Leek faced a lot of pain , stress, anxiety and depression. Growing up with no lights, water, gas, I barely had clothes. My momma use to run a water hose and extension cords from the neighbors house. That’s “survival one on one” I survived what a lot of people couldn’t. Music and writing motivated me to get out of poverty with so much that’s up against him. He still manage to beat all odds. “Soul Survivor” is one of his greatest work. I name it Soul Survivor, because I felt all alone falling out with family members, can’t trust the people I call my brothers. I just felt hurt and need to let it all out with holding nothing back. I put my back against the wall and attack everything that stands against me. Im not here to leave, let’s go to the big league.
