You can feel trauma, pain and euthanasia colliding in the heartbreaking story of 25‑year‑old Noelia Castillo from Spain. After a brutal assault, a failed suicide attempt left her paralyzed and in constant chronic pain. She spent years living with both physical and psychological suffering before asking for the legal right to euthanasia under Spanish law. In this video, I go through who Noelia was, what happened to her, how the Spanish euthanasia law works, and why her case became a national and international controversy. We look at the court battle with her father, the role of doctors and the State, and what official sources actually say about her condition and her decision. I also address the rumors and conspiracy theories around organ donation and supposed pressure from doctors, and focus on the facts we can really confirm about Noelia’s euthanasia. In the end, I share my own view on trauma, pain, euthanasia and the right to choose, and why, even if I would have chosen differently in her place, I believe her decision deserves respect
