What's first year of med school like? Meet Ali, a Canadian who chose to study medicine at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia—straight from high school. In this clip, Ali covers what year 1 in Flinders med is like. She says they start with a good base of theory in Year 1, which makes the transition less stressful, especially when coming from high school. You won't be seeing patients in the first year, but you do lots of labs in that way.
