Lonely Island Club is virtualgolfer65's entry into the TGCTours CC Contest and is playable on PGA Tour 2K21. virtualgolfer65 decided to take his 8 hole Design League reversible course and expand it to an 18 hole course for the contest. From his description: Established in 1987, Lonely Island Club is built on an island found somewhere in the Swiss Alps. It's not truly lonely, as there are animals and rocks and trees and some small waterfalls peeking out of the rocks and lo and behold, there is an 18 hole golf course there too!. Originally intended as a retreat for a recluse lighthouse keeper and his wife, the word got out and they've extended an invitation for golfers to fly in and play a round. Due to space limitations the course was built in a 1020x700 yard rectangular plot (measured in Course Designer). This ensured the owners desire for a full 18 holes was fulfilled, by creating a reversible course, with many holes sharing fairways and greens. Keeping with the owner's wishes, a minimal amount of earth moving was done. This led to majestically high tees, as well as blind tee shots from the lower ones, landing on very undulating fairways and greens.
