The New Nobility   #NewNobility There really is a privileged elite that is given special status, benefits, and protection in our society. We effectively have a New Nobility. I'm not talking about hollywood, celebrities, or even career politicians, although there is some crossover there. No, I'm talking about a class of people who are given access to money collected by our governments at cheap rates that are not available to the general public, even though it is the public's money that is being handed out. An Elite that can legally pay lower tax rates on their kind income than the rest of us pay on ours. An Elite that can commit crimes that ruin the lives of thousands or even millions of other people and will only receive a monetary slap them on the wrist while few if any of them see any jail time. An Elite that can count on being bailed out of any serious problems that threaten to impoverish them even if those problems come from their own incompetent, or possibly criminal, actions. An Elite so important and powerful that they can threaten the world's governments that if they do not get what they say they need the economy and even those governments themselves will be destabilised.
