AuSableTrout: Restoring the Williams Tract

Trout Unlimited took on the slow moving stretch of the Au Sable River outside Grayling, Michigan to improve its ability to sustain wild trout. Steve Sendek, of Northpoint Fisheries Management, walks us through the stretch and explains the techniques he used to speed up the stream, provide cover for trout and move sand loads off gravel that trout need for natural spawning.
