As requested, Spanky's mother is showing him off to her friend's at a tea party, having him recite a part of Shakespeare, Mark Anthony' speach “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears”. While her friend's endure this, at his close she announces her plans for her son to put him on the stage. (A amateur kiddy show) She beams with pleasure.
