Easy Dometic 9100 RV Awning Torsion Spring Setting

How to set the spring tension on your Dometic 9100 awning with details to be helpful during a replacement. The setup process and how many turns to put on the torsion spring will get your awning working great again. We replaced our awning and the extension would be very fast and would not even stop until we hit the retract button. Also was very slow to retract. Spring was out of adjustment. Easy to fix but be very careful when you are winding the torsion spring... if you slip it could injure you.
