Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Curt black powder-coated multi ball mount for two and a half inch hitches. Now this multi ball mount has three differently sized hitch balls to meet your towing needs. It starts with the smallest, one and seven eighths inch diameter. Over here is the two inch diameter, and this is the largest, two and five sixteenths diameter hitch ball. And to switch between the balls, you just remove the ball mount from your hitch, rotate it through the ball size you need, and then just slide it back into your hitch receiver. This is a hollow steel shank, which will weigh less, and it could be used with an anti-rattle kit. It is a nice black powder coat finish to resist corrosion. Now, when you do install this into your hitch receiver, it will require a hitch lock or a hitch pinning clip. That is not included, we do sell separately on our website.Application, again for this, this fits a two and a half inch by two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver. Now the gross towing weight capacity will just depend on what ball size you use. If you start with the smallest one, that's going to give you . This is the one and seven eighths inch diameter. The gross towing weight capacity is 5,000 pounds. Maximum tongue weight capacity is 500 pounds. If you end up using the two inch size diameter ball, it's gross towing weight capacity is 10,000 pounds. Maximum tongue weight is 1000 pounds. And then if you use the largest ball, which is the two and five sixteenths diameter, that'll give you the max gross towing weight of 14,000 pounds, maximum tongue weight of 1400 pounds.Last thing I want to do is give you some dimensions from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of whichever ball you use. So if you use the larger two and five sixteenths diameter ball, you'll be using this hitch pin hole. So if we measure from the center of the ball to the hitch pin hole, I'll be right at seven and a quarter inches. And then if you use either one of the other one and seven eighths inch or two inch ball, you'll be using this hitch pin hole. And if we hold that one, and we go center to the center of the hitch pin hole, that's right at eight and three eights inches. But that should do it for the review on the Curt black powder-coated multi ball mount for two and a half inch hitches.
