Poem 2 B God is bigger and your pain 

🕊️ Sermon: “God Is Bigger” Beloved in Christ, There are moments in life when the weight we carry feels unbearable . Pain from the past haunts us. Anger flares in our hearts. Doubts whisper lies in the silence of our minds. Scars—some visible, others hidden— remind us of wounds that still ache. But in these moments, let us hear this truth, soft and strong as a whisper from heaven: God is bigger. Bigger than your past. Bigger than your pain. Bigger than your fears . Bigger than your sins. Bigger than anything you’ve done —or anything that’s been done to you. The words you shared— “God is fighting for you even in battles you do not see” —are more than poetry. Poem is a Prayer! They are a promise. Exodus 14:14 tells us, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Prayer is not our last resort—it is our first defense, our strongest weapon, the lifeline that tethers us to heaven's strength. Perhaps you don’t know how to pray. That’s alright. Prayer is not about perfect words—it’s about an honest heart. Whether you whisper, weep, or sit in silence, God hears. Romans 8:26 tells us the Spirit intercedes for us when we do not know what to pray for. And maybe you don’t know how to tell your story. Friend, your story is still being written. The ink of grace hasn’t dried. The Author of your life has not finished the final chapter. What you think disqualifies you may become the very thing God uses to draw others to His love. When you feel lost, remember—God is making a way. When you feel forgotten, know that His timing is perfect. When you feel broken, trust this: “His mercy is unshakeable. His love is deeper still.” We are not defined by our scars but by the One who bore scars for us. Jesus understands pain. He understands betrayal, loneliness, even death. And He rose. So will you. Let prayer be your greatest weapon. Let trust be your posture. Let hope rise, even now. And when doubt creeps in, speak this truth aloud: “God is bigger.” 🙏 Let us pray: Holy and loving God, You are the God who sees us in our weakness and meets us with grace. Teach us to pray—not with fancy words, but with hearts wide open. Heal our past, calm our fears, and remind us that nothing is too broken for You to redeem. Fight the battles we cannot see. Walk with us through the valley. And when we cannot see the way, help us to trust the One who is the Way. In Jesus’ name we pray.
