House member's proposal would exempt gun safes from state sales tax 3/27/18

HF3918, sponsored by Rep. Chris Swedzinski (R-Ghent) would provide a sales tax exemption for the purchase of a gun safe, which is defined as a container or other enclosure with a lock and intended for secure storage of one or more firearms.
