The thing is, player career mode got a bunch of changes for FC24, but is it actually now better than manager mode? No, I actually think the opposite, player career mode is dead. Hear me out, but really, itâs almost pointless to play at the moment, stuff doesnt make sense, thereâs barely any thing to do and worse of all, itâs actually quite boring. I still remember my first time playing a player career mode. It was actually a be a pro save on PES 11 or 12, and it was legitimately amazing. Youâd start out your career playing reserve matches, with other reserves from your team, then work your way to the subs bench, and eventually playing the games. I rescued Sampdoria from the relegation zone and basically replicated Paul Gascoineâs Italy spell. It speaks a lot that I still remember it nearly 15 years later. However, I played a few hours of player career mode for this video, and I can barely remember anything that I did. I think the best thing about player career mode is rebuilding careers. Iâve done videos about this with Anthony Martial & Dele Alli in the last few years, but everything is basically the same this year. It doesnât matter if you want to make Antony or Jadon Sancho win the ballon dâor, or if you try to build a guy from the Indian League into Jude Bellingham, youâll be doing the exact same three things.
