Ang kontrata ay magbibigay ng oportunidad kay Magsayo na lumaban sa US sa ilalim ng TGP Promotion at Al Haymon’s Premiere Champions promotion na siya ring promoter ng current WBA Super Welterweight World Champion Manny Pacquiao. Ang 24 anyos na si Magsayo ay naging pro noong 2013 under ng ALA-Promotions bago ito tuluyang sa ALA humiwalay noong 2018. 2019 naman ng pumirma ito ng kontrata with Cameron Dunkin at lumaban ng 2 beses. Di naman nito binigo ang kababayan natin ng Manalo ito via knockout kontra kay Erick Deztroyer ng Indonesia at Manalo via unanimous decision kontra sa dating bantamweight title holder na si Pungluang Sor Singyu o Panya Uthok ng Thailand. 20-0 ang record ng native ng Tagbilaran, Bohol at mayron itong 14 knockouts. The 24-year old native of Tagbilaran, Bohol made the announcement via his official Facebook page. According to the official press release, Magsayo's contract is promotional and it will give the Pinoy the opportunity to compete in the US under TGP Promotions and Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions promotion. Pacquiao, the reigning WBA (Super) Welterweight World Champion, is also promoted by PBC. “I am thrilled to sign undefeated world-rated contender Mark ‘Magnifico’ Magsayo. I have watched Mark develop here in the Philippines as a fighter,” Pacquiao stated via the press release. “He reminds me of myself, how we both struggled to come from nothing to world-rated contender . I love his work ethic and desire to become a world champion and I will do everything to help promote Mark and make his dreams a reality.” Undefeated in 20 professional bouts with 14 wins coming via KO, Magsayo, a former ALA Promotions standout, remains one of the Philippines' most promising young boxers and is currently ranked 4th in the world with the IBF and 5th in the world with the WBC.
