High accuracy Binary Neutron Stars

This video shows the visualization of a binary neutron star merger simulated with the WhiskyTHC code, developed by David Radice, Wolfgang Kastaun, Filippo Galeazzi and others. The WhiskyTHC code is one of the fastest converging codes available in fully general relativistic hydrodynamics, therefore the simulation showcased here is very accurate. The visualization and preparation of this movie was performed by Cosima Breu.
