Curried Prawns | Prawn Curry | Chinese Curried Prawns Ingredients and Recipe: 300g of Peeled Prawns 1 Onion - Sliced 4-5 cloves of Garlic 1/2 thumb size piece of Ginger 1/4 Red Capsicum 1/4 Green Capsicum 1 Cup Peas 1/2 Cup Coriander 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil 3/4 Tsp. Curry Powder 1 Tbsp. Coconut Cream 1/2 Cup Skim or Full Cream Milk 1 Tbsp. of Heavy Cream (if not calorie conscious) 1 Tsp. Chicken Powder 1 Tbsp. Sugar or 1 drop Monk Fruit Sweetener 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice Corn flour Slurry: 1 Tbsp. Corn Flour in 1/2 Cup Water Season with salt and black pepper Add Olive oil in a wok, stir fry Onion, Ginger and Garlic. Add Prawns and stir fry for a few minutes. Nicely sear all sides. Add Capsicum, Peas and stir fry. Add Coconut cream, milk, curry powder, salt & black pepper, sugar/sweetener and lemon juice. Add Corn flour slurry and bring to desired thickness. Add coriander and serve. Serve with Rice or eat with a low carb bread. Note: If you don't have curry powder add 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala and 1/4 Tsp. Turmeric OR 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder + 1/2 Tsp. Cumin Powder + 1/4 Tsp. Turmeric. Coconut cream can be swapped with 1 Tbsp. Desiccated Coconut.
