Israeli military denies Gaza ground operation as violence escalates once again

Israeli troops have been massing along the Gaza border, despite its military saying they had not yet entered the coastal strip, despite previous reports saying a ground operation had been launched. So far, 119 Palestinians and 9 Israeli died since Monday, due to the escalating violence. Both parties show no sign of de-escalation, with Israel’s Defence Minister Benny Gantz calling for the mobilisation of 9,000 reservist troops and Hamas firing another barrage of rockets towards the Hebrew State.
