Al Michaels was struggling to keep up on “Thursday Night Football.” The broadcasting legend has been on the call for some of the wildest sporting events, from the Miracle on Ice during the 1980 Winter Olympics to the Malcolm Butler interception during the 2015 Super Bowl, but the 49ers’ thrilling 23-20 overtime win over Rams will not go down as a shining moment for him.
