Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated in central China as Henan province braces for more heavy rain and flooding. The death toll from the historic floods has risen to at least 33. Heavy rain is forecast to continue over the coming days, partly driven by a strengthening typhoon east of Taiwan. The cost of the damage is estimated at about $190 million.
