She was an orphaned kitten that showed up at our home scared, hungry, and hurt. We nursed her back to health and she became my little buddy who liked to climb up on my shoulders, to give hugs by rubbing her head against your cheek all the while purring in your ear, while wrapping around your neck like a scarf. She unexpectedly passed away today (Sat. Aug 12, 2023).
