Filmed and edited by SunMin Park Most wrist injuries are the result of falling on an outstretched hand and causing hyper-extension, hyper-flexion, or repetitive loading/torsion. This taping method can prevent both extreme ranges of motion. Wrist hyperextension is the most common and will be demonstrated below. Be sure to rule out wrist fractures before returning an athlete to sport.
