"Improving Oversight and Accountability in Federal Grant Programs" Panel 1

The Subcommittee on Technology, Information Policy, Intergovernmental Relations and Procurement Reform held a hearing entitled, "Improving Oversight and Accountability in Federal Grant Programs," which focused on Executive branch spending on discretionary grants and examined weaknesses in the process used to select grantees, as well as the effectiveness of current oversight and monitoring of grantees' use of funds.
