Everyone will hate you because of me. Yet not a hair of your head will perish. From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 21:12-19 At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: “They will persecute you and arrest you, hand you over to the courts and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors because of me. This will be your opportunity to bear witness to me. But make it clear that you do not need to worry beforehand about how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words of wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. Even parents and brothers, relatives and friends will betray you, and some of you will be put to death. You will be hated by everyone because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish.
