In today’s video, we’re running a full miles per gallon test on the legendary Ford 300 inline-6 engine after converting it from a carburetor to a FiTech EFI system. We fill the tank, hit the road for over an hour, and return to top off the tank again — calculating exactly how much gas we used and how much the EFI improved our fuel economy. If the MPG isn’t where we want it, we’ll dive into the FiTech tune and make adjustments to maximize efficiency.
