DMC4SE (Vergil) Mission 1 - DMD - SSS (100% Perfect S-Rank)

Finally decided to start my DMD S-Rank playthrough - starting with Vergil! "You will not forget this devil's power!" Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition -- SSS-Rank / No Damage / No Item Playthrough Player: theMKdude Platform: Xbox One Character: Vergil Turbo Mode: On Difficulty: Dante Must Die (DMD) Personal goals: Play SSStylishly Make it entertaining (custom soundtracks) Beat the missions fast WHILE gaining as much Stylish points as possible To improve and learn on the way Mission Requirements - Stylish Points: 500 Clear Time: 1:25 I have to admit, compared to Nero and Lady, Mission 1, as Vergil is quite tricky to SSS-rank; It requires a bit luck and patience. The required Stylish points for an 'S' here is 500. To reach those points, you'll need to make sure you raise your battle rank up to an 'A' or higher first before starting dealing major damage against Dante (the higher the battle rank, the higher the multiplier). There are only a few ways to raise your battle rank here. Since Dante will still take a good amount of damage, you simply cannot just defeat him with varied attacks. It won't gain you enough points for the 'S', unfortunately. Taunting is one of the crucial things you need to be using here, avoiding Dante's attacks at the last moment, as well as deflecting Dante's sword attacks will also raise your battle rank. That should cover all you need to know in order to SSS-Rank this mission. Overall, this was a very lucky run for me. Til' next time... Keep it SSStylish!
