Both Engine Failure | Aviation story Airplane crash in Hindi |Mayday Plane accident mystery

This is the incredible story of Air Canada Flight 143, a Boeing 767 that took off from Ottawa to Edmonton on July 23, 1983. Everything seemed normal as the flight cruised over Central Canada at 41,000 feet. However, suddenly, the pilots received a low fuel warning, followed shortly by the failure of both engines. How did a modern Boeing 767, recently introduced to the fleet, run out of fuel mid-flight? The disaster began the day before with a faulty Fuel Quantity Information Processor (FQIS). But the true cause was a critical calculation error made during refueling. With both engines dead and electrical power failing, the pilots were forced to attempt a dangerous dead-stick landing. They diverted to a nearby location known as the Gimli air force strip, unaware that the runway had been closed and was currently hosting families having a picnic and children holding a cycle race. To rapidly decrease altitude without increasing speed, Captain Pearson used a highly unusual technique for such a large plane: the "forward slip". Discover how the pilots successfully landed the massive aircraft without power and without a single casualty, despite the landing gear failing and the plane skidding to a halt on the runway.
