You are not allowed to touch any of the yellow platforms with arrows on them (difficulty: 4/10). A cycle begins as soon as the first platform of the fully solved Bowser picture moves and ends when the picture is reassembled. You start on the platform in the bottom right and you can collect the first red coin after a cycle has begun. During the two and a half cycles you have, Mario must remain crouched until you have collected all the red coins (difficulty: 3/10). Whenever you press the jump button, Mario must perform a long jump, except when jumping from a pole (difficulty: 4/10). The challenge is only considered completed once you have collected the star (or key) at the end of the mission. You must never take damage. The only exception is running out of air underwater. You are not allowed to use any of Mario's special caps. Exceptions to all of the rules mentioned above may apply in individual cases. These will always be explicitly stated. In general, the rules listed above apply. The version of Super Mario 64 in Super Mario 3D All-Stars is recommended. Other versions are not prohibited, but some challenges may be modified. Each challenge has a difficulty rating from 1 (very doable) to 10 (extremely difficult). The difficulty level is mainly based on how long it takes me to complete the challenge in the live streams.
