Earning Turns at Ski Area of Firsts | Woodstock Triple Crown | pt3 | Saskadena 6

Saskadena Six is a skill hill of FIRSTS, from America's FIRST rope tow in 1934, to the FIRST National Snow Surfing Championship in 1982 (a sport that evolved into "snowboarding"), this small 600ft vert ski area now encorages mountain biking in the non-snow months. The price of admission is sweat; the reward is a good time. There are a variety of trails, from flow to enduro loamers. S6 even hosts a couple stages of the Eastern States Cup enduro races. A big day on the mountain bikes in Woodstock, Vermont. The plan was to cover Woodstock's 3 trail networks; Mount Peg, Aqueduct Trails, and Saskadena Six (formerly Suicide Six). We thought we'd be creative and title the ride "3-on-1", or perhaps "3 way". Turns out, our ride was already a thing. The Woodstock Area Mountain Bike Association (WAMBA) organized the Woodstock Triple Crown Challenge, which runs July-August. The challenge being to ride all three networks in one day. We unwittingly participated. This is part 3 of 3, covering the Saskadena 6 trails. Due to time and body constraints we rode a short ~4mi/1000ft.
