This heartbreaking ballad works the leading soundtrack for the Japanese movie, Signal: Long-Term Unsolved Case Investigation Team (劇場版シグナル 長期未解決事件捜査班). The movie is a remake of the Japanese tv drama Signal (originally Korean), for which BTS wrote the theme song—“Don’t Leave Me”—in 2018. The song, co-written by Jung Kook, marks BTS' first collaboration with Japanese rock band back number and Iyori Shimizu.
