Reward: $1,000 and the unlocking of Starfish Island. Walkthrough & Key Beats The Pickup: Tommy first goes to a multi-story parking garage to pick up a Ruger (Kruger) assault rifle left by the Colonel. Meeting Lance: Upon picking up the weapon, Tommy is intercepted by Lance Vance. After a brief, tense exchange, they agree to work together to watch over the deal. The Deal: Tommy and Lance drive to an alleyway in Ocean Beach to meet the powerful drug lord Ricardo Diaz. Tommy and Lance take up sniper positions on opposite balconies/staircases overlooking the alley. The Ambush: As the deal begins, multiple waves of Haitian gang members arrive in cars and vans to disrupt the meeting and kill Diaz. Tommy must use the Ruger to pick them off from his vantage point. The Chase: After the initial shootout, two Haitians on dirt bikes (Sanchezes) swoop in and snatch the money briefcase. Lance shoots one, but the other escapes. Tommy must jump onto the remaining bike, chase the thief through the narrow alleys and streets, kill him, and retrieve the cash. Conclusion: Tommy returns the briefcase to Diaz. Impressed by Tommy’s "balls," Diaz offers him future work, setting the stage for the next chapter of the road kill::You must assassinate a pizza delivery man named Carl Pearson. The Challenge: You have to kill him before he finishes delivering his 50 pizzas. If he completes his route, you fail the mission. The Target: He is seen driving a slow "Pizza Boy" scooter around the Ocean Beach area. The Strategy: Most players simply ram him off his bike with a car and then run him over or shoot him while he is on the ground. The Reward: Completing the hit successfully earns you $500. "Phnom Penh '86 The Goal: Ricardo Diaz sends Tommy and Lance to recover a stolen briefcase from a rival gang (The Sharks) hiding out on Prawn Island. The Setup: Lance Vance flies a Maverick helicopter while Tommy sits in the passenger seat armed with an M60 machine gun. Key Objectives Aerial Assault: You fly over Prawn Island and must shoot down gang members on the ground, on rooftops, and in vehicles from the helicopter. Ground Combat: Once the area is mostly clear, Lance drops Tommy off at the mansion. You must fight your way through the building on foot. The Briefcase: You reach the roof of the ruined mansion to collect the stolen briefcase.
