Call of Duty: Online - shot down gunship?!?

I messed up my predator missile because of a lag spike, and then it exploded in mid air for no reason, and I noticed on top of the screen the text 击落了故军 [空中炮艇]! which translates to "Therefore, the military shot down [aerial gunship]!" Which is kind of odd considering nothing was in the air at the time I launched that missile!
