The Division 1.3 | PVP - Rogue Defense

Hopefully this video is inspirational for those who get steamrolled in the DZ like I used to. This is the end of a typical outnumbered survival and was a much longer fight overall but I wasn't recording from the start. The 5 opponents eventually concede, give their respect and I go about my business. I could have run at any point but I had just successfully extracted and felt like testing my limits a bit. My mic didn't record on the video but I didn't converse until the fighting was mostly over. I also want to thank these guys, they had great gamesmanship and it was an enjoyable darkzone experience. I'm wearing my solo survival build. Its nowhere near optimal but it allows me to solo anywhere in the DZ (even DZ6, slowly) and fend off most groups of rogues long enough to escape or extract. After you eat up 10 minutes of a group's time and all their ammo they tend to leave you in peace for the rest of the session. I'm on console and still learning new things about the game (for example I didn't realize I couldn't do a beatdown while on fire, which makes sense). My aim needs work and the pure chaos of pvp and odd camera angles from cover don't help but hopefully my mediocracy gives you more hope in soldiering on and not giving up on the DZ.
