LESSONS FROM POST ELECTION VIOLENCE
Residents of Huruma in the Eastland of Nairobi learnt the hard way the importance of peace during the 2007/2008 post election violence and with few months to another election they are making all efforts to ensure there will be prevalence of peace and tranquility during the electioneering process. Today the parish youth council of Kariobangi organized a peace walk to sensitize the community to maintain peace and cohesion during and after elections.
