Should you stay at Le Méridien Abu Dhabi, the Marriott beach property in the UAE capital, or stay somewhere else? In this full Abu Dhabi resort review I take you through a one-night stay at Le Méridien Abu Dhabi, a Le Méridien brand property under Marriott Bonvoy. We cover the two outdoor pools with in-water beds and a swim-up bar plus a separate kids' pool, the private sheltered-inlet beach with its beach bar and lifeguards (and the jellyfish purple flag on the day), the surprisingly well-equipped gym with a squash court and a boxing ring, the Eden Spa, the lobby with its central fountain and bookshelf feature, the deluxe king room tour, the reduced food and beverage offering during my stay including The Latest Recipe buffet and Captain's Arms, plus a small but distinctive onion-crisp smell in the corridor, the central location for business and sightseeing in Abu Dhabi, and the honest stay or stay away verdict.
