Florida terrorism bomb plot thwarted by FBI

A naturalized US citizen from Kosovo was arrested and charged with plotting Islamist terrorist attacks on crowded locations in the Tampa Bay area, US officials said on Monday. Authorities were alerted after a source said Sami Osmakac, 25, tried to buy an al-Qaida flag at his or her store. The source put him in touch with an undercover FBI agent, and the three discussed tactics and possible targets. Osmakac was arrested after he allegedly bought weapons from the agent.
